Louise Monot

Louise Monot began her career at the age of 15 after winning a contest held by the magazine "20 years". Soon after, she landed the role of one of the schoolgirls, Marine Lavor, on the television series "La vie devant nous".

 

Louise's first television role was in an episode of the series "Cordier, juge et flic" in 2000. Then, she played several roles in television movies such as "A Love to Hide", in 2005, for which she won the Best Young Actress Award at the Luchon Film Festival.

She also acted in many feature films: « Prête moi ta main », « Plan de Table », « MR73 »,

« Hell », « OSS117 Rio ne répond plus » (with Jean Dujardin) directed by Michel Hazanavicius and « Little White Lies » directed by Guillaume Canet.

 

She also had the lead role in mini series: "Malaterra", "La Prophétie d'Avignon" and "La Ligne noire".

 

Louise made her theatre debut in "Brooklyn Boy" with Stéphane Freiss and Christophe Bourseiller.

 

In 2007 the cosmetics brand Bourjois chose her as their ambassador.

 

In 2011, for her role in “Mademoiselle Drot”, she won the Best Actress Prize at the Monte-Carlo International Television Festival .

 

Louise also played in English in Jeremy Leven's 2013 film 'Girl on a Bicycle' , in "tatt av Kvinnen" a Norwegian movie directed by Peter Naess and more recently, in the American pilot of the series “The After” created and directed by Chris Carter."
